Mayfield pupils have been enjoying getting out and about this term. Reception visited Wimpole Farm in April, Y1 visited Wandlebury in May and Y5 have been to both the Fitzwilliam Museum and a Tudor recreation day Kentwell Hall. All modern articles have to be left behind when you enter the Kentwell time tunnel so there are no photos of the day but as ever, the children had a wonderful experience. Forthcoming trips include a visit to Hedingham Castle by Y2 and a look around the Cambridge University sculpture trail followed by some punting along the Cam for Y6.
