Mrs May is Type 1 Diabetic. She wanted to use her time in office to highlight and promote some issues which are important to her.
Bea and her father have both been guinea pigs for Type 1 Diabetic research over the years, and are actively involved in the fundraising done by JDRF
Teresa May held an afternoon reception at No. 10 for Researchers, Practitioners, Carers, fund-raisers and sufferers of Type 1 diabetes.
