Further to our communication of 30th March, 2026, the Governing Body of Mayfield is delighted to announce that the Department for Education (DFE) has accepted our application to join the Eastern Learning Alliance. The Academy Order was made by the DFE on 18th June.
The transfer is likely to take place during the Autumn Term of the coming academic year. In the meantime there are many weeks of work to complete and we are now working closely with the DFE Project Lead, the Local Authority and the ELA to make timely progress.
This is an exciting new phase in the development of our school and we will continue to keep you updated.
