Finalists from year 3, 4, 5 and 6 baked some wonderful celebration cakes. The unenviable task of judging the cakes was undertaken by Kimberly Chapman (Mum of Peo in year six, cake creator extraordinaire, author of Eat the Evidence<\/a><\/strong>) and last years bake-off winners.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Sid and Leo from 3E who baked the winning cake, and well done to all the finalists for their wonderful creations.<\/p>\n

28 June 2017<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is semi-final week of the bake-off. \u00a0In this round the children are being challenged to make a cheese and tomato tart including homemade pastry. \u00a0The staff got to taste and judge today’s baking. \u00a0A fantastic baking effort by year 3 and 5 today – well done.<\/p>\n

All the children in year three have learnt how to make pastry and then turn it into to delicious jam tarts. \u00a0Our jam tart judge is our school cook Jose David, who was very impressed with the quality of the baking.<\/p>\n
