Monday 19th<\/span><\/strong> – we were very grateful to the Aspens staff in the kitchen today for cooking up a wonderful Christmas lunch. Sadly Wilma, who is leaving us a Christmas after many years in the school kitchen, was unable to be there but we all wish her well in her new job.<\/p>\n

On Monday 12th<\/span><\/strong> our PTA ran the annual Christmas Craft Day – once again a huge success with every child in school taking part in a carousel of Christmas craft activities. \u00a0Many thanks to Rachel Barnes and Helen Thorpe for organising it all, and to all the parents\/carers who came in to help throughout the day.<\/p>\n

Friday 9th December<\/strong><\/span> – it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at Mayfield. \u00a0Last week a flock of robins of all shapes and sizes settled all over the school including Super-Robin in the large hall.<\/p>\n

Today we started our Christmas celebrations by entertaining the Mayfield Seniors\u00a0with tea and mince pies accompanied by festive songs.<\/p>\n
