Monday 28th June<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Y6 left on their very long awaited Overstrand Hall adventure today.\u00a0 Please check back here during the week for regular updates.<\/p>\n

15:55<\/strong> They have just pulled in to the driveway, so the journey took longer than expected but they have arrived safely.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tuesday 29th June<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8.45<\/strong> Last night the children did a range of activities including a 2.5 mile walk, a blindfolded ‘follow my leader’ activity through the woods, aeroball (basketball on trampolines) and orienteering.\u00a0 They took a while to get to sleep but then all slept well.\u00a0 Breakfast was at 7.00am and they are now getting ready for today’s activities.<\/p>\n

8.45<\/strong>\u00a0 The children were exhausted yesterday after their rope climbing and late night the previous night so slept VERY well.\u00a0 Asleep by 10 and no tears.\u00a0 They had a mini olympics last night and they are off to the beach today so hoping it stays dry.<\/p>\n

9.40<\/strong>\u00a0 Bouldering and archery for 6F this morning and low ropes and a STEM activity for 6G.\u00a0 There are some photos from the climbing on the slideshow in Tuesday morning’s update.<\/p>\n

Thursday 1st July<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8.50<\/strong>\u00a0 Last night the children had fun with bottle rockets (ask them what happened if the water balloon inside survived), followed by a quiz.\u00a0 Today’s activities include a laser quest, den building, a STEM team activity and night line.\u00a0 A couple more photos have been added to the slideshow.\u00a0 Mrs Emery reports that they are having lots of fun.<\/p>\n

Friday 2nd July<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9.00<\/strong>\u00a0 Yesterday evening the children collected wood and had a campfire for their last night.\u00a0 This morning’s activities are bouldering and an obstacle challenge for 6G and low ropes and the obstacle challenge for 6F.\u00a0 The coach is booked to leave Overstrand at 1.00pm to arrive back at school at around 3.20pm – we will update you during the journey.<\/p>\n

12.55\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>They left at 12.50 and are taking a different route home to avoid the roadworks.\u00a0 ETA is currently around 3.00pm but they will update when they\u2019re nearer.<\/p>\n
