Monday 14th October<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Y6 left on their Overstrand Hall adventure today.\u00a0 Please check back here during the week for regular updates.<\/p>\n

3.40pm – Y6 have arrived safely and are settling in.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tuesday 15th October<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9.00am – After a delicious dinner of sausage and mash, a walk to the beach and a quiz, everybody went to sleep early and slept well (amazing!).\u00a0 The weather is overcast but dry and today’s activities include crate stacking. Jacob’s ladder, low ropes and orienteering.\u00a0 There will be a night walk after dinner.<\/p>\n

The groups enjoyed knife skills and making fires (almost!)\u00a0 Everyone enjoyed the night walk under some beautiful stars… now to bed!<\/p>\n

Wednesday 16th October<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9.00am –\u00a0 After a really good night, everyone was was awake in time for breakfast at 7.15am.\u00a0 There are a few bleary eyed staff, but the children are all very chirpy and raring to go.\u00a0 It has just started to rain, but everyone is fine and having a good time.\u00a0 Everyone will be having a go at the climbing wall today.\u00a0 and other activities will be crate staking, lasers, Jacob’s ladder and the jungle vine.<\/p>\n

Thursday 17th October<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10.00am – The children enjoyed conquering Jacob’s ladder and honing their archery skills.\u00a0 After dinner they took part in an alternative olympics with races in the dark and a song or two.\u00a0 Everyone slept very well and we have woken up to a bright almost sunny morning.<\/p>\n

Friday 18th October<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8.45am – For the last evening the group all enjoyed songs, hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows around the campfire.\u00a0 Everyone was asleep almost as soon as their heads hit their pillows!\u00a0 They are looking forward to their final morning of activities before heading home.<\/p>\n
