25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 9.30am and 3.30pm to 6.00pm); term time only plus two weeks to be worked in the summer holidays.
To start on 18th March, subject to pre-employment checks.

The pay rate is currently £8.50 per hour with a pay award due in April 2019.

Teaching Assistant (temporary working with a child with ADHD) 22.5 hours, 8.45-1.15, Monday to Friday, including lunchtime supervision.  Level 1b/Level 2 depending on experience.  To start as soon as possible until July 2019.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Love making learning an enjoyable experience
  • Are keen and excited about supporting a curriculum that is creative and innovative and tailored to needs of the children
  • Enjoy being part of a committed team.
  • Have had experience of, or are willing to learn about, working with children with ADHD.

  • Working with a child with a diagnosis of ASD including adapting working as needed for the child and setting firm boundaries.
  • Supporting other adults and children within the classroom
  • Liaising with parents
  • Record keeping and assessments as required.
