Teaching Assistant for children with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Level 3. 22.5 hours, 8.45-1.15, Monday to Friday.

 We are looking for candidates who:

  • Love making learning an enjoyable experience
  • Are keen and excited about supporting a curriculum that is creative and innovative and tailored to needs of the children
  • Enjoy being part of a committed team.
  • Have had experience of, or are willing to learn about, working with children with EAL.
  • Are able to work on their own initiative.

This post will include

  • Working with children with EAL including adapting work as needed.
  • Supporting other adults and children within the classroom
  • Liaising with parents
  • Record keeping and assessments as required.

Training will be given to the right candidate.

Midday Supervisors
Permanent, 6.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 12.00noon to 1.15pm).  To start as soon as possible, subject to pre-employment checks.

The pay rate is from £8.82 to £9.68 per hour depending on experience and the job is term time only.
