Teaching Assistant Vacancies (Y2 & Y4)

We are offering an exciting opportunity for you to work with us through a shared teamwork approach.

We are pleased to be able to offer these TA positions:

Teaching Assistant level 2 (Named child contract, Achondroplasia in Year 4) 8.45-12.45 (20 hours) Monday to Friday, including lunchtime supervision.

Teaching Assistant level 2 (Named child contract, Achondroplasia in Year 4) 12.45 – 3.20 (12 hours 55 mins) Monday to Friday, including lunchtime supervision.

Teaching Assistant level 2 (Named child contract, Achondroplasia and associated hearing loss in Year 2)
8.45 – 12.30, (18 hours 45 mins) Monday to Friday, including lunchtime supervision. Temporary in the first instance.

Teaching Assistant level 2 (Named child contract, Achondroplasia and associated hearing loss in Year 2)
12.30 – 3.15, (13 hours 45 mins) Monday to Friday, including lunchtime supervision. Temporary in the first instance.

We may consider requests to combine positions for the right candidates.

We are looking for candidates who:
• Love making learning an enjoyable experience
• Are keen and excited about supporting a curriculum that is creative and innovative and tailored to needs of the children
• Enjoy being part of a committed team.
• Have had experience of, or are willing to learn about working with children with Achondroplasia and hearing loss.

These posts will include
• Working with children with Achondroplasia including adapting work as needed
• Supporting other adults and children within the classroom
• Liaising with teachers, parents and other professionals
• Record keeping and assessments as required.

Training will be given to the right candidates.
