Mrs Stepney, our new Deputy Head, spent the day at Mayfield last Monday. While she was in school she was interviewed by some of the Y6 News Team:
1) Why did you come to Mayfield? I came to Mayfield because I wanted to work in a city school and really like Mayfield.
2) What inspired you to become a deputy head? I had been teaching for a while (7 years) and I like management.
3) Which school did you previously teach at? Haslingfield Primary School
4) What are you looking forward to next year? I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone.
5) What do you think of our school so far? Everyone at Mayfield is so friendly, I really like it.
6) What do you like most at school? I like school performances, art, numeracy at literacy.
Mrs Stepney will be starting at Mayfield after Christmas.
