Eureka! Y6 have been learning about all things Greek this half term – from Ancient Greece to Greek dance; from Greek philosophers to Greek scientific discoveries. As part of their topic each pupil was given a £5 note to spend on ingredients for some Greek food. On Friday the whole school community enjoyed the fruits of their labour as delicious food was sold to staff at lunchtime and to parents/carers and pupils in the playground after school. Hardly a crumb was left and Y6 raised lots of money for a treat later in the school year.
