A team of four children, one child from each year in KS2, have won their heat of the National KS2 General Knowledge Inter-School Championship. Mayfield will now move on to the next round of the competition which is organised by The Quiz Club.
There were four teams in the area heat and the Mayfield pupils, Esther, Isabelle, Joseph and Michael, came through from second place to win in the last round. Questions included the first artificial satellite in space, and which was the last monarch who could not have been photographed!
