This week a team from Heartstart Cambridge University, a group comprised of medical students, came in to school and taught Y6 pupils basic lifesaving techniques – this includes CPR training as its core component, as an individual struck down by cardiac arrest is twice as likely to survive if the person who finds them knows how to perform CPR.
